Blossom, Bingo & Curry Nights...

A couple of months back I volunteered myself to co organise a Parent social evening at Matilda's school. Little did I know that it would take place in one of our busiest weeks of 2014 so far! Despite the rising stress levels yesterday it was a huge success with everyone coming away saying they'd had a lot of fun.

I was particularly proud of the Bingo sign I made with another extremely talented Mum Meachelle who is a Fashion designer and Art director as well as a maker of extraordinary cakes. We wanted to bring a little 1970's cheese to the occasion, thank god for silver foil!

I also made up little jam jars filled with tulips to celebrate the arrival of the Spring. So easy to do, they cheered up the long school tables with their prettiness.

Matilda and I also picked up some beautiful blossom from a neighbour yesterday afternoon on our walk to ballet, which is now taking pride of place at the kitchen window.

Lots of Spring joy to ease the lack of sleep last night, now for an early night and a cup of hot tea...Happy Weekend everyone!
