After a super early start this morning I allowed myself to finish at 3pm today so I could enjoy a couple of hours of painting and creating with Matilda. We carved her pumpkin ready for the competition at school on Friday (will let you have a glimpse once I've taken a little trip to the stationery shop and it's completed), made a Halloween banner, she painted and drew and I took these photos. Matilda picked the berries and leaves from the garden whilst I arranged them. We had a lot of fun making a mess. It's these small moments in the midst of a hectic life, that are so precious to the both of us.
