When I spotted my friend's Suzanne's photo on Twitter of a pretty knitted crown I just knew Matilda would love it. I mean, what little girl wouldn't?
Luckily, Suzanne offered to knit her one which she bought to our lunch yesterday. How much nicer is this than those lurid, plastic tiaras that last only one wear?
This crown is for life.
The pattern was designed by Dani Sunshine you can also find out more about her by following her on Twitter @Lionessarts
The crown was knitted by Suzanne Stallard of Jelly in Reading She is a wonderful artist, maker, crafter, she can turn her hand to pretty much anything creative. You should check out her beautiful blog here where there is also a link to her shop. You can find her on Twitter @alabamawhirly
Needless to say Matilda has been wearing her crown incessantly even sleeping in it last night!
Thanks Suzanne and Dani you have made my little girl very happy.
