The beauty of the Cotswolds

As you know the husband and I jetted off for a romantic weekend in the Cotswolds, leaving our three old bubba in the amazing care of her wonderful Godmother. We will be eternally grateful for all her help and love for our little girl. The husband and I began the weekend with lunch in the magical Cirencester (if I could move here I so would, sadly with the lack of connections to London this dream won't come true for a long time). There are a few places that are unmissable in Cirencester. The first is the traditional Henleys sweet shop where we picked up  some goodies for my Goddaughters. The second is the most delightful Octavia's Bookshop which I wrote about here earlier on this year, a veritable treasure trove. Another shop I love is the French Grey Interiors filled with gorgeous accessories, needless to say I didn't leave empty handed. The same goes for the quirky Lexi Loves Shop which really tests my powers of resistance with all their unique goodies.

Though what makes The Cotswolds is it's natural beauty and perfect villages that come into their own at this time of year under the glow of the Autumn sun.
