I don't normally write about football or even get that passionate about it, but I do like to participate in the energy of a tournament. So tonight I'll be supporting Portugal, my parents' home country and often thought of as the underdog. I used to get so irritated when people asked if Portugal or more specifically the Algarve was part of Spain, I know it's hard to believe such ignorance, but I can assure you I was asked that.
I'm always torn as to who to support, my heart and head battle every time I'm faced with the decision. However, now that the England team are back home it's left me little choice but to support my second homeland.
Right, I'm off to watch the game but here's a little image of support, let's hope Ronaldo can pull it out of the bag tonight!! Viva Portugal!
