Eggs and Mickey Mouse on the Southbank

Today's destination was the Southbank. A quick coffee catch up meeting with a client, followed by lunch with two girlfriends at Giraffe as I had the toddler with me. Giraffe is an ultra kiddie friendly restaurant, we were immediately greeted with smiles, crayons and a big orange balloon - the food ain't half bad either. It all makes for a pleasant lunch as salads are good, Matilda loved her Pasta and the important thing is that she was allowed to run around freely with the other children.

The Southbank was buzzing with entertainers, the tempting real food market and people strolling taking in the ambience. Matilda was especially fascinated with Mickey Mouse and his friends who were extremely friendly. She enjoyed the discovery of the Faberge eggs dotted everywhere but it was the London Eye that really caught her attention, she was obviously awe inspired by the immensity of it.
