My little girl knows me so well. On Christmas day she presented me with the most precious little brooch. A gleaming, glittery rabbit that looks fabulous on my short black jacket! I'm a sucker for anything shiny and this delicate rabbit is a perfect addition to my collection of sparkles. Also to put the John Lewis boy to shame, she ordered a slow cooker from Amazon for me and her father (no help from anyone of course especially the husband), addressed to Mummy and Daddy of...this caused me great amusement on Christmas day. Her father is a little joker...
Also under the Christmas tree was a gleaming, shiny Panasonic TZ20 Lumix from the husband, the new compilation of Nancy Mitford's works with a forward by India Knight, and more touching was a collection of Brazilian carnival edition stamps from 1970 framed by him in honour of our Brazilian adventure last Autumn. I was a very spoilt lady this Christmas.
