The first day of half term has been and gone. Work took over this morning with a last minute research request from a client in Singapore, so Matilda took to building towers, drawing and imagining all sorts of obscure scenarios with her Littlest Pet Shop toys.
We're both full of cold so welcomed the day at home, part of me felt guilty we hadn't ventured out of the door but sometimes you've just got to do it. I had a break in the afternoon, so we cuddled up on the sofa to watch a movie with a plate full of biscuits left over from the Valentine's Day cake sale at school last Friday. They were a welcome treat with a large cup of steaming lemon and ginger tea.
Tomorrow we will venture out, throw a coin in the air to see where that will take us...
