The return of the 1970's vintage coat...

A sweet story to share with you. Once upon a time in about 1975 a little girl received in the post a big, huge package from a country called Portugal. Her loving Auntie Tuda had sent her a beautiful Princess jacket. She adored it and wanted to wear it all the time. That little girl is now all grown up and passed this said jacket, still in mint condition, to her very own little girl who also fell in love with it.

As you've already probably guessed that little 1970's girl was me. Thankfully, my Mother kept that little jacket and handed it to me when Matilda was born. Matilda wore it for the first time last Saturday and boy did she look bonnie in it. She proudly announced to anyone who complimented her on it 'it was my Mummy's coat when she was a little girl'. She enjoyed wearing it and I loved her in it! Mental note to myself, take down that suitcase with all my 70's Woolworth dresses, I may find some forgotten gems hidden away...
