Tulips are amongst some of my favourite flowers, especially when they're this vibrant hot pink colour. A big splash of brightness has entered my kitchen, they are a joy to look at first thing in the morning when I'm a bleary eyed, zombie making breakfast, ensuring Matilda eats her cereal and
drinks her milk.
Tulips have now made a firm appearance in all the florists and supermarkets, a sign that Spring may finally be heading our way, though I suspect with the plummeting temperatures this week I am a little ahead of myself. In the meantime, I have these beautiful flowers to lighten up the long, grey days of Winter. Thank you to my wonderful friends who bought them for me on Sunday, you know who you are. They're bringing me happiness each day!
