With reports of a major storm that's about to hit us, we made the most of the blue skies this afternoon to take a long walk on Wimbledon Common. Despite the unseasonably warm temperatures, the wind howled across helping us along our way. Matilda played with sticks, gathered acorns in her arms for the squirrels, cleared paths of leaves with her stick, ran through tall grass then battled with the wind in her face. She climbed up to the top of the Windmill with Daddy
With some fresh airs in our lungs we headed home to make oat cookies, drink tea and eat the stew that the husband had left bubbling in the slow cooker. Did you take advantage of the absence of the rain today?
