A Summer's weekend...

With the promise of thundery rain we postponed our trip to Norfolk this weekend. Not one to dwell on the disappointment we soon made other plans. Matilda was able to complete her tennis course yesterday so no wasting of her last class. We then took off to Westfield, the husband and Matilda to see Despicable Me 2 and me to browse the shops. A couple of hours of me time did me the world of good. A bite of lunch then to Holland Park for the rest of the afternoon.

Then an impromptu barbecue with lovely friends in the rain with gorgeous food whilst the children had a cheeky TV dinner. Today we drove to the majestic Windsor Great Park for a picnic beside the lake. We ate, drew, played, walked through the woods then rewarded ourselves with coffee and cake at our favourite Windsor Farm Shop.

We even managed to sneak in the Pinocchio film before bath time. Now the hubby and I are just waiting for our weekly Dexter fix...Hope you all had a great weekend.
