At roomtobreathe virtual assistants we are often asked to shop for clients. Being somewhat of a shopaholic myself this is no chore for the likes of me. Whether it's online shopping or walking the high street, I am always obliging to the client. So if anyone out there hasn't got time or the inclination, we are more than happy to take over!
Due to the nature of this side to my work, I make it a priority to scout new gift websites. It's inevitably quicker to send clients links to particular products or ideas for presents rather than take photos to send on. With so much choice on the internet, I thought it might be helpful to my readers to try narrow it down.
This will become a regular weekly post where I share those websites that have caught my eye.
Today I have two for you: an old reliable friend and a new discovery.

Today I have two for you: an old reliable friend and a new discovery.
- Notonthehighstreet which I'm sure will be known to many of you. I've used this site for years even before roomtobreathe. Notonthehighstreet showcases small independent designers and crafters. Not only do I love the unique products on sale but the ease with which you can find what you want. You can chose Gifts for him/her or for children, your budget and bobs your uncle, you'll find the ideal gift in no time. Generally you receive a personal response from the seller, one of whom I've ordered so much from we're on first name terms. Delivery is swift and efficient and I've never been disappointed.
- Next up is Rose and Peck a new website that I found via Twitter. Thankfully last week I was browsing through tweets when I spotted their photo of new glass milk bottles, like the kind we used to drink from as children at school, I jumped straight on the laptop for a browse. On sale are some lovely quirky items, not a huge choice but enough to wet your appetite and make you want to take a tour round. I suspect their shop in Newark has a wider range available so worth dropping them a line if you have something particular in mind. Super friendly and extremely fast delivery. I'll definitely be back.
There'll be more ideas for you next week. If you have any particular favourites please feel free to share.
