The weather did us proud. In typical Bank Holiday fashion, we saw rain, wind, sun and clouds. You've got to admire the British spirit come rain or shine we will persevere with our outdoor events. No amount of rain will dampen our spirits!
This morning I jumped out of bed, pulled on some clothes and went out the door to Isleworth to feed our client's adorable old cat. A bacon sarnie and hot coffee awaited me upon my return. Showered and with all the chores done we ventured up to Maida Vale where the Cavalcade and fair was well under way. Boats, people, lovely stalls and a great goat curry ensured we had a very pleasant afternoon sat by the water watching the parade of cheery canal boats.
Sometimes it is lovely to avoid the great bank holiday escape and enjoy what our great city has to offer, I can't think of anywhere more lovely to do that than Little Venice.
